GulfMark Offshore provides marine transportation and related services worldwide. Our primary objective is to provide quality, cost effective service, while at the same time, ensuring safety and the preservation of the environment. To achieve these aims, the Company owns and manages an internationally modern and technologically advanced fleet, operated in accordance with our Safety Management System, which complies with the International Code for the Safe Management of Ships and Prevention of Pollution (ISM Code) and BS EN ISO 9002. Each individual GulfMark employee is responsible for the quality of their own work as GulfMark Offshore is fully committed to maintaining the principals encompassed in the Safety Management System. In everything we do we will: - C onsistently emphasize that health, safety and care for the environment comes first - R einforce individuals right to STOP work if they feel it is unsafe to continue - E nsure that training is available to everyone for all essential HSE skills - A ctively encourage the reporting of unsafe acts and conditions, near misses, dangerous occurrences and accidents - T ake time to ensure a thorough investigation and satisfactory close out of all reported events, and - E ncourage the efficient use of energy, the minimization of waste and the prevention of pollution By pursuing the above goals, we will CREATE a vibrant and successful company of which we can be proud.
